Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before booking with Basmala.

1. Definitions

“We/Us/Our” means Basmala Travels. “You/Client” means the person(s) making a booking. “Supplier” means airlines, hotels, resorts, ground handlers, visa/attestation authorities and insurance companies.

2. Bookings

  • 2.1. A booking is confirmed only after written confirmation and receipt of the advance.
  • 2.2. Quotations are subject to availability until paid and booked.
  • 2.3. Names, dates and passport details must match travel documents. Errors may incur charges by suppliers.

3. Payments & Pricing

  • 3.1. Prices are dynamic and vary by season, inventory and exchange rates.
  • 3.2. Payments are accepted via bank transfer/UPI; international options on request with fees.
  • 3.3. Balance must be paid within the timeline shared; unpaid balances may lead to auto-cancellation by suppliers.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 4.1. Airline/hotel/ground and visa rules apply. Some services are non-refundable.
  • 4.2. Refund timelines depend on suppliers; our service fee is non-refundable.
  • 4.3. No-shows/late arrivals are treated as per supplier policy.

5. Documents & Responsibility

  • 5.1. You are responsible for valid passports, visas, permits and health requirements.
  • 5.2. We act as an agent between you and suppliers; liability is limited to our service fees unless mandated by law.
  • 5.3. Service deliverables are as per vouchers/invoices shared at booking.

6. Changes

Itineraries may change due to weather, operations or government advisories. Equivalent alternatives will be offered where possible; cost differences (if any) are payable by the client.

7. Travel Insurance

Strongly recommended. We can arrange destination-specific coverage. Claims are subject to insurer terms.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or losses due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, etc.).

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction in Kerala, India.
